What a great year 2016 has been for JL Makeup Studio! Our initial team of only three artists (Ali, Claire and Bri) were able to accommodate over 80 fabulous bridal parties this year, so it'd only make sense that for 2017 - it's time to expand! Without further ado, we would like to welcome to our team: Kendall Sisler (Licensed Cosmetologist), Bailey Liebert (Makeup/ Licensed Cosmetologist), Ashley Schrader (Makeup/Licensed Esthetician), Katrina Cahill (Licensed Cosmetologist), Amanda Vicinelly (Makeup/Licensed Esthetician), Cindy Hines (Makeup/ Licensed Cosmetologist), and Mara Brant (Makeup/Licensed Cosmetologist).
At JL Makeup Studio, we only hire the best in the Pittsburgh beauty industry, so you can feel 100% confident that all of your expectations will be met when you book with one of our artists for you big day! All of our staff are personally handpicked by Jae and Joy, are all currently licensed by the PA State Board of Cosmetology (a must!!), and are each extensively trained in specialty services, like airbrushing and lash application, to be sure that you are getting only the best on your special day!

We were rated 5.0 out of 5.0 stars on both the Wedding Wire and The Knot. The studio even won its very first award "Best of Weddings" 2017 Vendor pic from The Knot!
Ali, Bri, and Ashley were certified in Classic Eyelash Extensions
Bri was certified by Everlasting Brows in Brow Feathering (Microblading)
Both Ashley and Ali graduated from The South Hills Beauty Academy with their Esthetician license
Jl Makeup Studio won it's first "The Knot Best of Weddings 2017" vendor pic
Jae Lee completed her Classic Lash Extension training curriculum, and trained her first set of students
We added SEVEN new artists to our 2016/2017 team. Woo-hoo!!
Our retail line of products at the studio is getting larger, and we are proud to offer Bdellium brushes, Limelight by Alcone, our own in-house brand of cosmetic and lip products, Grande Lips and Grande Lash, and doTERRA essential oils just to name a few!
